A Summer Reflection

My name is Todd Ashburn, I am a seminarian for the Diocese of Madison, and have been assigned to Divine Mercy Pastorate this past summer.  My time in this Pastorate this summer has been incredible.  I have been able to learn so much from you all and have thoroughly enjoyed growing closer to Christ with you all.  This summer I have been blessed to talk, visit, go to LBH, bring Holy Communion to the Homebound, and so much more throughout the Pastorate. By your commitment to Our Lord, generosity, and kindness you have inspired me to do the best that I can in seminary to prepare, with the help of God, to be the best priest I can be.  I am now going to be moving to Saint Francis de Sales Seminary where I will continue my seminary formation and education.  This year I will be going into my first year of Theology and am excited and very thankful to God for having Divine Mercy Pastorate as my teaching parish for the remainder of my time in Seminary formation.  With that, I will be coming to the Pastorate on weekends to visit, pray, and talk with you all.  Please know of my prayers for you and I am excited to continue to get to know you.
