Blanket Bee Success

Eighty-five people participated in this year’s annual St. Vincent de Paul St. Maria Goretti Conference Blanket Bee. Many Divine Mercy Parishioners, families, and even other St. Vincent de Paul conference members from neighboring parishes came together to create 116 handmade blankets that will be given out to local families in need. These blankets are a part of St. Vincent de Paul’s Home Visit service. St. Vincent de Paul volunteers visit struggling families throughout our community, with many of these families transitioning from homelessness into apartments. Thank you to everyone who assisted in creating the blankets and for those that sponsored the cost of purchasing blanket materials.A $395 donation was made towards the $1,200 spent to purchase all blanket materials.
